KOReader
KOReader is the e-reader software Crossbill syncs with. The Crossbill plugin runs inside KOReader on the device.
What the plugin does
Section titled “What the plugin does”- Syncs your highlights with Crossbill and between your devices.
- Uploads your highlight styles, so you can name and recolour them as labels in Crossbill.
- Uploads your reading sessions: when each session started and ended, and how far you got in the book.
- Downloads chapter digests to the device, so you can read a chapter’s summary and key points while you read.
If you use two e-readers, the most recent edit to a highlight’s note or colour wins. For what happens when you delete a highlight, see KOReader plugin.
The plugin is optional. You can also upload EPUBs from the Library page and read and highlight them in the web reader. If you later sync the same EPUB from KOReader, the plugin adds to the uploaded book.
